WA State LR Championship (Rattlesnake Range)

There wasn't ever a *lot* of wind... just enough to be difficult, especially when it varied constantly in both speed and direction.

Actually, I for one was wishing for *more* wind... so it'd blow the mirage off so I could see the scoring rings. Even @ 20-25x I could barely see the 7 or 8 rings. Add that to some ammo issues, and Saturday was not the most fun I've ever had.

Monte is right on the money there. I couldn't see squat. A frame hold was *very* tempting.

It sure is one of the most fun ranges I have shot on. Took me till the last relay to get my s**t together. Congrats to Steve Z for a great win in F-Open and Keith in F-TR!!

I find Rattlesnake a great training range. if you can shoot well there you will shoot great elsewhere!!
