looking into purchasing some vv133...does anyone have any idea if this stuff burns clean,is temp sensitive, or any other cautions i should have before purchasing...i am not famialr with vv133 at all..any info would be greatly appreciated

p.s. i plan on loading it in the .223 with lighter grain bullets

Fred, I shoot it regularly in my PPC. I loaded some in 223 with 69smk's and it shot great! You won't go wrong.

You shouldn't have any problems with it using the lighter bullets..
I use it a lot in a few 6br's shooting light weight bullets..

I've used in .223 . It burns cleaner than most others that I've tried. It meters fair, not perfect but not something that worries me. It was the best for SD of velocites for the different powders I tried so far, along with 8028. It didn't seem to be affected much as I shot at 80 degrees to about 100 degrees the few days I went out. Hope this helps. Very accurate loads were obtained with it if you call .4 at 100 accurate in my 223.

Very clean, has been fairly consistent in burn rate lot to lot over the years. However it acts "goofy" (to borrow a phrase from well known BR shooters) when the RH <30%.....if you can learn it's quirkiness....it is an excellent powder.
