VV series 500 powders in 300Win Mag

I'm looking for help in selecting the best powder for bullets in the 200-230 weight range loaded long to about 3.51 in a .300 WM.
Would appreciate your comments, especially for the VV series 500.
Thanks

Worked up load in 300 prc for a friend used N570 and 215 Berger. Went up to 3050 fps before showing case head expansion but went with low node of 2925 fps where it shoots best. He killed a 5x5 bull first morning out went 5’ and dropped. Yours should work about same. I also use N570 in 28 Nosler 195s and 25-06 Ackley 133s.

Did you try any N560, N565, or H1000?
I agree with load below max pressures. No reason to live on the ragged edge.
Thanks for your comments.

No just N570. It was so good I saw no reason to try anything different. My loads are all below max. Another 300 prc I did H1000 and 215s and shot very well best load was 20fps less than 570 in other rifle

I have lots of H1000 and no N500 series
Whan I need a new supply, I will start with N570 if there is a reliable supply.
I note the same company ownes. Berger, Lapua, and VV.
Thanks

When n570 works it works well
My 338 loves it.
N565 in another good option being similar to R26.

I couldn't get enough V565 or H1000 in a 300WM case to get the speed or accuracy that I got with RL23 using a 185 Berger.

565, 568, 570 will work fine. VV has no intention to stop supplying powders to reloaders, as per a previous comment from them. Keep in mind that the 500 series of powders are double based and 565 and 570 have an explosive heat index of 4000 degrees.

My go-to hunting load is a 210 VLDH Berger with 76.6gn of H1000 set 18thou off the lands. Groups consistent sub .250 five shot groups out of my RBros built Remington 700 with a Proof Carbon Barrel. Cases are fire formed and bumped .004. I like a little more bump on a hunting rifle as the potential for debris in the field is a larger concern than when target shooting.
