VV powder in a 6.5 PRC

I have been unable to obtain new supplies of my prefered H 1000 but VV has become available.
Anyone using it in 140-150gr bullets?

N565 w/ 156 Bergers worked great for me. Good luck.

I've only used N565 for 142 SMK's and it done really well. And I intend to use if for Berger 153.5's as I feel it should do well there too. LOL, but . . . good luck on finding any N565 these days.

Try N555 in your PRC..Mile High has some i think.

I played around with N555 in one of my Creedmoors and 143 ELDXs a couple years ago, whenever it first came out. Couldn’t get enough in the case, too slow. I remember thinking I needed to try it in my Saums and haven’t. I’m currently loading for a new Tikka 6.5 PRC. I have H4831SC in 10 cases and Retumbo in 10 cases to start things off, also using 143 ELDXs. I’m glad N555 was mentioned, I’m gonna try it too I think.

N560 shot lights out in a 120 and 135 Berger for me with an 8 twist barrel. I think I shot it a little with a Berger 140 too but didn't come back after I got H1000. I may retry in the future because I have a few lbs left.

560 for 140s and under and 565 for anything over 140s. 565 worked GREAT with the 156 bergers

I have a good load for 144 Bergers and 150SMKs. Looks like 565 if I can find it
