I see Powder Valley has N165 back in stock now so I was looking at it for my 300WSM shooting 230s. Looking in quickload it seems to be lower in energy than other powders, needing more pressure to get the same speed than other powders, even the faster ones. Have others found this to be the case? I know it is cool burning, but does this somehow translate into lower energy as well?
