Vudoo pillar height

Anybody know the correct pillar height for vudoo bottom metal on a v22? I figured they would send pillars with their bottom metal but no such luck.

Figure it out yourself. Here is how I do it when I build a stock. Install the bottom metal, install the action into the inletted stock including the trigger. If the the space between the bottom of the trigger and trigger guard is ok proceed. If the space has to be adjusted lower, remove some stock material from the inlet, if more space is needed temporarily add a shim to get it where you want. Measure from the shim to the bottom metal to get your pillar heights. For pillars I use aluminum spacers from Amazon and trim to the correct length. Hint, it is much easier to glue in a longer pillar and trim top and bottom to length using a counterbore with the proper diameter and pilot in a drill press or milling machine. I get good results in my drill press taking light cuts and measuring and checking fit of the action often.
Good luck,
John

Thats no issue but i needed a full inlet on a solid stock. I build the pillars and test them before the action ever goes into the stock. You can bolt the bottom metal up and do a full function check then inlet the stock to that height. Im not as familiar with how this action picks up and feeds so it can be .030 off and still work but its not right. Not as much room for error on a rimfire. I thought it woulda been an easy question and thought the bottom metal woulda came with them to start with. I asked the question on here because i thought maybe somebody with a complete one may could measure.
