Need to keep searching for the right ammo. A good 22 should put 10 into one hole like this group.

this is 10 shots at 50 yards

.......................
James, thats awesome but you had to know you'll get flamed for posting the Wallet group!:p Pass the popcorn.....
To the OP, James is right there's probably more you can get out of the rifle with the right ammo. Great start though! Nice looking rifle!

Gonn have to step up to next level on ammo.
Try Eley match (black box).
You are trying to run a sports car on kerosene.

Yup congrats. You will have a lot of fun with it. Also as mentioned keep shooting it and looking for ammo. They actually start shooting better as you shoot more. Mine shoots Center X, Fed UM and Eley Match and Edge great to past 300 yards. For 50 it shoots most very good.

You spent a lot for a good rifle don't cheap out on ammo. Try ten x. If it wont shoot that i would be surprised. Every 22lr I have from cheap to high end always shoots 10 x great

Great looking rifle ! Mine doesn't seem to like ten x as much as the SK/Lapua ammo. Standard +, biathlon sport, center x and midas+ at 100 and long range match at 200. Tried to shoot 300 in the rain the other day but that was a miserable failure. I'm gonna need some better conditons to figure that out.

Appreciate your thoughts, those groups are after sight in of maybe 10 rounds then the groups of different ammo, know it will change over next 500-1000 rounds, always fun to try different brands with new rifle, appreciate this forum for the exchange of ideas.

I sent my 1st V-22 out to the Lapua test center in Az. This one has a Kreiger bbl that I did the work on; chamber was cut with a PTG EPS reamer. It didn't care for any of the lots of Midas +, but did shoot really well with a couple of lots of Center-X. Picked what looked to be the best of those two, and ordered in a couple of cases of it. Also tested samples of five lots of SK Std+ & SK LR Match here at home, and wound up buying a case of each (wish I'd have bought two cases of the good lot of SK Std+). I'd finally managed to convince a sales person at Grafs that there was a good reason for me being 'picky' when it came to buying a specific lot of SK Rifle Match, and wound up getting two cases of the best lot of it that I'd found in the process of testing at least a dozen lots. I'd done the same with Lapua Center-X - and when I did find a lot of it that shot really well, I was a bit late to the party, and couldn't find any more of that lot at any of the places I tried. That's when I decided to send the bbl'd action to the test center. I don't really mind testing myself, but it's frustrating to order in samples, then get so busy with farm work that I don't have time to shoot them, and/or to have the time to test when conditions are conducive to accurate shooting. It sucks to spend the money on the lot samples, then finally get the time to shoot when conditions are good, then find a lot that you'd happily invest a couple of thousand in, only to find that a large number of shooters have already discovered how good that lot is, and have bought up all remaining cases of it. And honestly, there are days when I'm just not shooting good enough to do justice to the rifle or ammo - that's when I really, really wish I lived within easy driving distance of one of the Lapua test centers. I am within a 4.5-5hr drive from the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs - I believe Eley tests there a few times per year. Would like to go out just to see if that's a viable route to come up with some good ammo, but I'm not sure just how well my V-22s feed the flatnose EPS-style ammo. Maybe when I get the V-22S action & get it barreled & stocked, the dad-burned COVID-19 panic will be done with, and I'll be able to get out to the Springs with a few rifles to test...

Does the Lapua test center also test SK lots for you or are you on your own?

Unless things have changed, they don't test SK ammo. I specifically asked before I sent my bbl'd action in, and that's the answer I got.
you can have your "supplier" send some for them to test, but they don't keep any on hand.. so if you buy a couple of bricks you can get it tested on in the tunnel.. but really, i think that i would just do it myself.. we have an indoor range some of can use to test in
