Vortex spotting scope is still for sale ... never recv'd the funds
purchased these spotting scopes within the last 12 months for my 80 yr old dad to enjoy what shooting time he has left. He complained not being able to see targets downrange so I bought several spotting scopes. Unfortunately, dad's health has gotten worse and he's not physically capable of shooting anymore
Sadly, he never even got to use them so I've decided to sell since I already own a Leupold spotter.
SOLD - Athlon Ares G2 UHD - straight 15-45x65 .... includes box, manual, neoprene cover, front lens cap, and adjustable tripod-shoe mount. This spotting scope has gotten very favorable reviews and compares to scopes in the $750-$1000 range. Personally, I like it more than the Vortex (see below) since it's lighter, more compact, and has a slightly clearer image. Internet prices are around $599-649. Selling this for$435 $415 $399+ shipping. Can't go wrong on this price and if you decided to sell, you'd get your money back, great buy for someone not wanting to break the bank.
