Anybody have any experience with one of these 22 pistols?
Was interested in one of the Black Mamba models, probably 4.5"
Was going to trade a couple in that i don't use or like.

Had their 22 magnum version (which they don't make anymore). Lots of feeding and extraction problems which they couldn't fix. Dumped it for a huge loss.

Have the 6” target Scorpion. Accurate, reliable, fun, and you can dry fire if.

A lot of people love them. Expensive upgrade from a Ruger which is what they are based on. Some just add the Volquartsen trigger parts to their Ruger mark pistols. I went with Tandomcross because at the time they were the only ones who offered a vertical trigger. Not to dis them, they are very nice.

I have a Black Mamba, love it. I’ve had two of their rifles, zero issues and accurate. That being said I found KIDD 10/22 parts and rifles. I’ve bought the KIDD parts and built four KIDD 10/22s, extremely accurate and fantastic triggers. So… I kept the only Volquartsen pistol I’ve tried and traded off the two rifles for the KIDDs. I am interested in a Volquartsen Summit, straight pull rifle.

I have 1 10/22 with a kidd barrel and trigger kit, love it.
One of the pistol's i'm trading in is a ruger mark lll. What a pain to take down to clean!

I have a Mamba with 4.5” barrel. It is very accurate and runs amazingly smooth.

But I bought an older MKlll 22/45 and I don't like it at all. It has a TacSol threaded barrel and I can't hit squat with it, so I have kind of a bad taste in my mouth.

My Black Mamba was excellent. Highly recommended. The 10 rd capacity was a bummer. Sold it and my SW22 Victory. Opted for this, instead:

I've been shooting an original Volquartsen V6 Custom for over 30 years and absolutely love it. If you can find one of the older pistols you might be able to save some $$$. I recently saw a Black Mamba at our local range....very nice....didn't get to shoot it but it had a great feel and balance. Good luck.

I have the 3” mini mamba. Awesome gun to shoot with a suppressor. No issues with mine and very accurate.

Its the TX22 Comp.

Thats a thumb ledge attached to the light rail. Preference item, but highly recommended.

Reg TX22 is a great suppressor host..

Sold my 22 mag scorpion for feeding issues. Still shoot a mamba 6". Zero issues with the 22 lr pistols. Be warned that the mark 2 and 3 versions are built very tight compared to a ruger.

If you get a 22/45 Lite and replace the trigger group with the Vol trigger pack it makes a nice gun much better.
