In Aiken, SC for a training class and was wondering if there are any decent reloading supplies stores in the area worth visiting. Thanks for any info.

There's no more reloading stores in the Aiken area. You may want to try Cabelas across the river in Augusta Ga.

Went there earlier in the week and the had a decent selection of powder and projectiles. They even had 8 pounders of H4350.

Cousin retired there. He doesn't shoot but said Feed Sack was a great place to eat.. Also Park Ave Oyster Bar and Whisky Alley, Willcox Hotel.. There is a Cableas like Billy said. Sorry no info about reloading stores,, Which is the subject.. In Columbia there is PSA and Sportsman's Warehouse if you are willing to drive..

Thanks for the info. I will probably take a drive to Columbia Sunday.

In Cola ( Columbia) Rush’s for burger.. There’s one right off 20 on Broad River Road. There’s also Maurice for BBQ. Booth are very good!!!
BUT if you really want a taste of SC go to Shealys in Batesburg -Leesville. ( ooops Closed on Sunday) never mind. Good luck

If you haven’t left Charleston yet, there is a sportsman warehouse there. They tend to have better bullet selection than the one in Columbia.

Being from south Louisiana I am kinda partial to how seafood is done but I am headed to Charleston tomorrow to Patriots Point and might try give the seafood a try.
Short tale on different seafoods in different states. Checked in to Cherry Point NC in early 1971. Some of the guys in the squadron wanted to go to Atlantic Beach to eat seafood. We are standing in line to get in and the discussion was "what are you having?' The consensus was that they served the best mullet around. I asked for a clarification and again, mullet. I told them that where I grew up in SE Texas, mullet was fish bait.
They all ate mullet and I am still waiting to give it a try. Maybe in the next lifetime.

Kenny Jarret's rifle building shop is only about 5-mile south of Aiken. Worth touring.
If you go to Kenny's shop, you should ask for a tour of Kenny's museum. It is awesome if you are interested Indian artifacts, Civil War collections, things Kenny found while metal detecting, and mounts of animals Kenny took over the years. Also be sure and meet Kenny, he is very entertaining. I think his son Jay is running the shop now.
