VA. 1000 Yd Club will be conducting the 2017 Virginia State Championship Matches 7, 8, 9 and 10 on September 23rd and 24th at Harry Jones range in West Virginia. Match starts at 9:00.
The 2017 Virginia State Championship will be conducted and scored as a 4-target LG and 4-target HG aggregate. We will hold shoot-off’s to determine LG and HG Score and Group winners for each Match.
Cash prizes will be awarded for LG Score, LG Group, and HG Score and HG Group aggregate winners ($50 each), LG Overall ($100), HG Overall ($100) and 2-Gun Overall ($200)
Weather forecast looks good – we don’t anticipate weather preventing us from completing the Championship.
Shooter assignments to benches and relays will be randomly generated by computer algorithm. The only adjustments the Statistician will make to Relays will be to balance non-IBS and Rookie shooters, or to accommodate special needs of a competitor identified to the President of the Club or the Statistician before assignments are made.
