The Varmint Hunters Association held their first IBS 600yard match for 2006. We had an excellent turnout. Several new faces were in the crowd. The weather was mild most of the morning and turned a little windy,10-20 mph) in the afternoon. Richard Schatz continued with his winning ways by taking the LG Group and Score, and HG Group categories. In the process, he managed to break three club records,LG Group, LG Group Agg., 2-Gun Group Agg.). James Salwei finished strong as well. He managed to take the HG Score category and placed in the top three of three categories,LG Score, LG Overall, HG Overall). Other winners included Glen Sterling,Stock Group) and John Griswold,Stock Score and Overall). Elmer Miller, while not taking first in any class, had a good day. He finished in the top three for: LG Group, LG Overall, Stock Group, Stock Score and Stock Overall.
