Vintage 22 ammo

I am starting to clean out & organize my gun room after twenty years of packing in all kinds of stuff. I ran across two bricks of .22 LR ammo, one is MONARK and the other is WESTERN XPERT. The outer boxes have torn ends and are a little rough but the inner boxes appear to be in great shape. The question is are they collectable or just old ammo?

Just old ammo. Collectors want boxes in as mint as possible condition.

I have a friend who is a hoarder. He has some Remington Cleanbore so old the lead has oxidized so much it won't chamber.

Collectible ammo is most prized when it’s a full box and in pristine condition.
