[300 RUM]

Any one using VIHTAVUORI powders in the .308win, if so how do you like it, and which one do you prefer? Is there any real advantage to using this high dollar stuff?

VV150 with 185g BHy's start at 42g and work up easy to perhaps 44.2 ish for 2800 fps, BR2's

N150 w/168 or 178 AMAX ... no prob. N550 depends on lot # but that also applies to Varget.

Does it yield a nice clean burn in respect that powder isn't clean anyways, I mean no large amounts of gunk after a match ?

I've found that the first wet patch through the bore after N140 or N150 feels considerably smoother & is easier to push through than after an equal number of rounds fired with Varget. Borescope shows no more carbon in throats with the Viht powders than with any others that I've used.

Vith is very popular over here in the UK.

In my Accuracy AE 308 I use 46grns/SMK 155grns(2156) and CCI br primers loaded to SAAMI specs. I dont have the COL to the ogive handy at the moment.

It shoots around .3 moa in my gun with no signs of pressure.
