Vibrating Tricklers? UPDATE

Got a little Dandy today and gave it a test run. It does not interfere with the operation of my Creedmoor 925 scale. Works as advertised, maybe a little faster than manual trickling but definitely less frustrating. It was great being able to see the kernels before they fell and knowing exactly what was going in the pan. I am happy!

I added an extra “feature” to my Dandy. The weight on the shaft affects how much the tube vibrates but I thought it would be helpful, due to the various kernal sizes, if the angle of the tube could be easily changed. So, I made this. The “return springs” are dental rubber bands.

I ordered 1 of those too, I have never tried 1 so I thought I'd give it a go, and see if I get better results than the 2-hand turn tricklers, I already have,

that is a nice upgrade.
I made a version for myself. I made mine with 3 speeds. It is helpful at times.

I like it, I felt like mine needed a little tilt as well so a temporary shim was made with cardboard. I'll have to make one of those.

Nice job, the tilt give give a good degree of control. I use this method in both the tricklers I make.

Thinking about trying one, either the Hornady or the Little Dandy, but wonder if the motor will affect an electronic scale, more specifically the Creedmoor 925. Hornady says no, didn't ever hear back from Little Dandy. What are your experiences?
Ive got one, and no. They dont. I also have a soare to sell cheap
