VHA shoot- South Fork Rifle Club

Anyone going to the North East Varmint Hunters Assoc. Regional Match June 2 at South Fork Rifle Club in PA? I was there last year for the first time and had a blast and will be going again this year. It would be nice to put some faces to names from this site.

Howdy !

Boy, I wish I was !

I used to make the near 7hr drive from NE Indiana to Southfork; just to attend the "World Groundhog Shooting Championship" held there the last weekend of Sep.

IT was WELL worth the drive !

Have heard it said that the Southfork Championship shoot has prize $$$ & give-aways that exceed the "Hickory".

At Southfork, the shooting is from benches; at known distances. An egg shoot is thrown in on Sat
( championship shoot, for sure ).

Great folks and a nice range, in a scenic part of PA ( near the Johnstown Flood memorial ).

I was going to start a thread on this same subject but you beat me to it. I'll be there for the first time saturday morning. Already signed up and sent money in a few weeks ago. Hope theres a big turnout! Looking forward to meeting you!

South Fork puts on a great shoot, The varmint hunters shoot is a lot of fun, very tough but fun. Sunday the 3rd they'll have a regular match so it makes for a great weekend.

The Championship match is awesome, Great prizes, lots of shooters and top notch competition. Friendly crowd and good food all make for a great weekend.

Joe and the guys work hard at it and it shows.

I'll be there.
