Yup! Terry took care of me. After talking with the Smith's, I think I've found my "go to" for my fresh syrup. Love the stuff! Thanks Terry

What is "maple cream"??!! Is it as good as it sounds!?? Can it go in my coffee!!???
Maple coffee... Sounds good. Baileys is good in coffee. I spike the wife's every once in a while.

Maple cream is like soft fudge. You take maple syrup and heat it to 232 degrees, cool it quickly, then mix slowly. Sounds simple, but it takes skill.

Great on English muffins and fried bread dough.

Prepping for a shortage Scott..lol
Nope,
But a guy as popular as me needs to be prepared! I live in a house where the mystery syrup out of a plastic bottle is considered as good as it gets. For a while when I was growing up, my Mom made "syrup" out of boiling water and maple extract from Schilling. It was just maple flavored water, but as kids we knew we better not complain. I figure I deserve this.

Got it ordered and paid for today! Saved me some $$$ on shipping also! Peter is a great guy and I'm sure the syrup will be the same!

I contacted Peter for a pint of each type on Sunday. I have just sent payment to him by snail mail last night. I think next time I will have to try Maple Cream. I am going to put a yearly reminder on my phone calendar to contact Peter each year for syrup. I am really curious about the "Grade B". I never heard of it before this posting.

Man, Can I relate to this. I was raised by my grandmother and her youngest daughter. I can still see grandma mixing boiling water and sugar for our "pancake".

Wish the moderators would delete this post!!LOL. I just ordered some more syrup and maple butter!!! I got the dark stuff first and it is beyond good.

Pete told me there were a couple of customers that committed to a second order. That makes a pretty darn good review.
Our hopes and plans are to bring this thread back again every April.

Still waiting on mine.

Butch, do you think you have waited too long? I'm happy to check on your order if needed. Just text me your name and address and I can check.
If you ordered cream, they had a propane regulator fail. Back up and running and they made a fresh batch of maple cream today. So that could slow things down a little.

Thank you Accurate Shooter and mods. for allowing this thread and making this a great forum. Donation sent your way.
We thank you all for your orders.

In case anyone's wondering why they can't find Grade B in the store anymore, it's because the syrup cartel got sick of people thinking B was inferior, when it's just different. So they're got crazy and now they're all Grade A.
