I'm been shooting 29.5gr of H4895 behind WS2 coated 105gr Berger VLDs in my Savage 1-8 6BR, and getting good accuracy and average velocity of 2880 fps.
Went to the range this morning to test Berger's 105gr Hybrids with inconclusive results....didn't seem to be better or worse than the VLDs re accuracy, and there was about a 100 fps drop in velocity....
I also loaded some VLD rounds with RL15, and even at the top, 30.7gr, I only got about 2700 fps.
Just curious what others are getting with the RL15 and 105s??? The accuracy was outstanding: .236" at 30.7......
