Velocity of H4831sc and Lapua bullets

Fellows: I used the loading data suggested on the Hodgdon and ended up with an outstanding accurate load for my Swedish m41b clone.

My load was 46grains of H4831SC and a Lapua 144gn FMJBT bullet. Hodgdon's data uses a 24" barrel and listed the velocity as 2382fps using 42.5gns of powder as a starting load to a max of 47gns of powder for a velocity of 2586.

Can anyone give me and idea what my velocity might be using 46gns of this powder in a 29" barrel?

Thanks,

ptf18

My estimation:
100-fps more for the additional barrel length
45-fps less for the 46gr charge verses Hodgdons 47gr charge
2586
+100
- 45
2641-fps

Dmoran. Thank you

REal world load of 47g. out of a 28" barrel gives me 2800 fps (almost on the nose). I would expect about 2700 from 46g./29". The classic ballistics for the Swede are 24"bbl/ 2550 fps/140 gr. bullet. In a 96 action/22" barrel I had (son's hunting rifle) I was making just under 2500 fps with similar powder/140 Nosler Partitions.
