rifle is bat action bartlein barrel chambered in 6mm brx
aprox 1800 rnds down the tube
using the same load for two years[33.5 varget cci450 primer
with 107 smk bullets] always shot around 3050 fps
ran out of powder last fall [8# jug] purchased some one pound cans from various dealers this year
using the exact same loads, i can only get 2900 fps [varies between 2864 & 2915 depending on light conditions etc]
probably doesn't mean much at close range, but sure does at 1000 yds
checked my charge weights on three different scales, brass and bullets graded by weight. even tried wolf primers
also shot this load in a rem action, kreiger barrel with the same results
is this a normal loss of velocity due to a different lot of powder???
or could my barrels be wearing out
