Varmint Hunter magazine...............

Has anyone had a problem receiving their summer issue of VHA?.. I tried to "contact" them via their web site and it does not want to be able to send it. I tried both their toll free and regular number and they both say: Disconnected?
I have not been on this forum lately so maybe missed something? Did they go belly up like Precision Shooting?
Thanks
Rich De

Lay on your back and look at your belly.

Belly up. Cost me a couple years of pre-payment. Some new life members ended up with nothing after payment. Not a good thing.

wonder what will happen to the big new clubhouse......

too many big salaries ??

There's been some discussion on other websites about this. Sounds like a bunch of us won't be getting our Summer 2015 issue, or any others! I'm very frustrated that we couldn't even get a note explaining what has happened! It was the last magazine that I subscribed to, & always looked forward to the next issue showing up in my mailbox.

Few weeks ago the VHA website would not load at all, looked last night and it was working fine suddenly. Now, unless they did some "restructuring" of the business, I would tend to believe that their website should stay closed if the VHA is closed. Lots of questions and no answers.

Was a wonderful thing while it lasted, sad to see it go......

This sorta sums it up, no other magazines to subscribe to that I know of like these ( small caliber news- gone, precision shooting - gone, the varmint hunter - gone)

That's too bad I as well as many others enjoyed one of the last good publications. Hopefully they will resurface. Would of been nice if they notified their members what was going on.

Yesterday I tried their website again and it let me apply for membership up to the point of putting in a cc number and that is were I quite. Hopefully everybody understands what's happening and no more people lose their hard earned money.

I was wondering what was going on. The site had been down for awhile and emails were unable to be sent. Looks like my worst fear has come true. The last couple of years I have noticed there was many more articles from professional writers instead of member articles, maybe there just wasn't enough members anymore. Too bad for sure.

The last of the "Great Three", SCN, PS, and now TVHM (Shooter's News was also a good one). These were the only good magazines out there, and now they're all gone. What a loss! I hope someone picks up where they left off...?

Varmint Extreme is still out there and Varmint Nation is once a year publication. I see a new one on the shelf called Varmint rifles and cartridges.

There's a thread on Accurate Reloading that might be illuminating. It suggests someone might have something more than a "personal problem." http://tinyurl.com/pr7jzr6

If you are referring to the same thread I saw there there won't be any illumination.
Jeff & Jackie Rheborg ran the VHA (but I guess not well).
