Varmageddon bullets

I did a little searching here but couldn't come up with much. I was wondering if anyone had some experience with these against groundhogs or prairie dogs. I'm shootin a 6mm but would like to hear the results of these.

I have shot some out of a .243 win. lightweight hunting rifle , they shot pretty decent for this gun, about 3/4" or so, I shot some prairie dogs and and some unused fruit that was going south. Pretty impressive explosiveness. The large getting soft jicama( a very large potato looking thing) vanished completely...... not even spray on the ground.
This was with the 55 gr. hp. @ about 3750 fps. :)

I don't have any experience with terminal performance. I have just started working up a load and they show promise out of my 6x284.

I have used them on groundhogs in my 223 with very good results. In my opinion they are pretty much the same thing as the vmax. I bought quite a few last fall when I found them for 11 a box and will be groundhog load for this year.

Out of my 6x45 they print from .333 to .550", cant complain about that.
I have not shot any coyotes w/them just yet though.

Thx for the replies. I was just poking around on the varmint bullets that I've yet to try but it seems like these things are out everywhere so I'm a little late to the party.

My experience was not that good. I purchased a new Savage 223 bolt last spring, for the purpose of groundhog hunting. I got several types of ammo to find out what shoots best.

One box was Nosler/Varmageddon bullets. They shot horrible in my gun.

Now I understand that Nosler has been a well respected name in ammo for decades. So I don't really 'fault' Nosler....some rounds are just more accurate than others in particular guns. And it just happens that the Varmageddon bullets did poorly in mine.

Varmageddon 55 gr= 3 inch (or more) groups @ 100 yards
Hornady 53gr Superformace= 1 inch (or less) @ 100 yards (what shot best)

I redid my load for a 55 gr hp varmagedon hollow point in my .243, and shot some today. A load of IMR 8208 and this bullet has proven plenty accurate for my needs and thinking of the original post here i took along a grapefruit to test expansion. I fired a round over the chrony and into the grapefruit. 3902 fps. I then walked done to where the grapefruit Was 100yds away, and about 40 feet from its starting place I encountered the first of the very few pieces of it I could fine. Them bullets would make hard work for a taxidermist in trophy Prairie dog mounts........
