Anyone have a source I can use to determine if and what load of Varget I can try for the 100 Grain Speer btsp in the .243 Win. that would include min. and max. as well as velocity?

Great for the 58 to 75's, but slow velocity at early pressures for the heavier bullets in a 243.
Good luck regardless,

Spot on. Usually we use 2209 for 85+gr projectiles or 2213SC. 2208[Varget] too quick for heavier projectiles. Remember 243 is overbore and you want a powder to fully burn.dmoran said:You can use Varget with a 100gr bullet if you so choose (or if that is all you have do to the shortages) but in actuality it is to fast of burning powder for a 100gr bullet in a 243-Win.
