I'm hearing that Varget and H4198 along with other Aussie extruded powders, may be gone forever. There will be a replacement of sorts. OK by me, I've found several great replacements so I have several pounds that will be sold to the "non-believers", hee, LOL!

Thanks for clueing me in. As there are plenty of alternatives I will save my 8#er of Varget and sell it for 1K one of these days-- lol

I’ve been able to find Varget off and on for the last year. Now any Alliant powder that labeled RL15-33, that’s a different story. I’ve seen it once since Dec. 2020.

Same as H4198...unobtanium.

I have heard rumblings from several shooters that H4198 is no longer in production. Not sure if it’s true or not. You know how rumors go.
