As of 9:45 CST, Third Generation Shooter Supply still has 11 - 8 lb jugs of Varget. I got mine. Limit of one per order. Reasonable price.

That's not a bad price compared to some of the prices I have seen online.

A couple of Scheel's Sporting Goods stores up here in Minot, ND and Bismarck, ND had 8 pound jugs of Varget for sale and priced at $159.95. That's if you carry it out the door, plus they charge a total sales tax equal to 7.5% of the purchase price for city & state sales tax. That's an additional $12.00, but it is less than the $20 HAZ MAT plus whatever shipping charges it would cost from Oklahoma up here to North DaColder.

you guys should be so lucky,i bought a 1lbcan of varget from a local gun shop last week i paid £34-converted to $55 so if i wanted to buy a 8lb jug it would cost me£272or $440.
so $160 is in my book a freekin giveaway.
the general feeling over this side of the pond is the government are pricing us out of shooting.so i am starting to stockpile.

Agreed. I walk into the store so I have no hazmat or shipping. Only local sales tax. However, I have seen Varget go for $300/8 lb on some auctions. It is a matter of how bad you need it. Obama times have forced me to paid more for primers than I said I ever would. Tim

I just purchased 2 lbs of Varget for $47.00 at the local gun store. There were 2 lbs available and I just picked up one and the lady clerk said I had better take both of them because it was not easy for them to obtain. So I did!
