Varget Available 8lb jugs

Gene Sears in El Reno, Ok, has 38 - 8 lbs jugs of Varget as of tonight. Price is $158.83. $4.95 flat rate shipping plus $20 hazmat. Unfortunately they have a one jug limit.

I paid $139.51 from Midsouth on 11 August. As everybody knows, supplies are very intermittent. PVI seems to have the lowest price,$131) on Varget but they do not have any. If you need the powder, it is $18 more than the lowest price I have seen. Not that much if you can put it good use now.

I will not confess what I paid for 5000 Fed 205M from Bruno's in July. I thought I really needed the primers. It turns out that Wolf KVB-5.56M outperform the Feds in every load I have tried. The Wolfs were just $127.50 from PVI. Live and learn.

A pawn shop in town that has some reloading stuff has $35 per pound on RL22. I just laughed and walked out.

Gunbroker has everything you need,primers are only 55.00 a thousand,and powder is 60.00 a pound.Just in time for Cristmas! Money talks and Bull..itters walk.No wonder people are getting out of the gun hobby.

Well...... Gene Sears also had Fed205M this weekend. I placed an order for 10k. I called to check on the order this afternoon. They rationed them out to 2k per order. That sure makes the hazmat add up. tim

Good call, 40xhunter. The primers were $249.75 and the total was $290.67 with hazmat and shipping. It means less to me that it might to others, but I still do not like paying too much.

I live in NJ. Not many gun lovers here. Last box of 1000 205M I bought was $28.00. Gold is $1100.00 an ounce. I'm not buying any right now. Panic buying drives up the price. Economics 101/
