I have shot the v tac into 1.5" in tuning. Just 3 shot groups. I didnt have a lot of time with that rifle but they looked to be on par or at least very close to the hand made bullet. Good stuff is worth the wait, and Im glad he doesnt buckle to pressure and find ways to increase production. We want the best bullets.
(1) I'd estimate around 9 months to a year to gettem, worth the wait, great bullet !
(2) The automated 103’s are a completly different bulllet and if I recall correctly Tom does'nt make them at his shop.

Gotta plan ahead if youre going to use the good stuff. That goes for barrels, actions, stocks, bullets, rests, dies, etc.

It appears there is some confusion about a new bullet that we are selling currently. We are very fortunate and have an extremely high demand for our hand made 103 6mm bullets. As many of you know we go to painstaking efforts to produce the most consistent and highest quality bullet that we can. Probably the most difficult to obtain ingredients in the process of making consistent bullets is time. Ask any custom bullet maker and you'll get the same answer.
Due to the long delivery time on our hand made 103 6mm we entered into negotiations to have a 6mm bullet produced for us via a larger and automated press. We call this line of bullets V-Tac. Please do not confuse our V-Tac bullet with our hand made bullets, produced at my shop here in Missouri. It was because of our long delivery times we considered help in making this V-Tac line. We deliberated long and hard before relinquishing control of a portion of the bullet making process to anyone else. We delivered to them a set of specifications and list of components that they met. We had custom, one of a kind, dies built for us. This line of bullets is proprietary to Vapor Trail Bullets exclusively.
Like all Custom Bullet makers, we feel our hand made bullets are still the pinnacle of bullets, this V-Tac line is available now and shooting amazingly well.
