Valdada Scopes

I just bought my 2nd valdada 40x. It’s replacing a 45 sightron. Nothing wrong with the sightron, I just prefer the valdada.

If IOR Valdada needs a year (or two!) to deal with repair/warranty issues, then you might as well buy Leupold -- who will return a scope that you sent to them three different times, and each time returned it without fixing the issue. But they returned it promptly.

Hey Brothers,
I am a Valdada dealer and I can help. You can find my name under the dealer section, Lorne Harvey. There has been a couple of guys on here who needed service, same story....scope sent off. I called Val and after our chat, he send a new scope to the gentlemen. As far as pricing, if any of you are going to get one, call on me please. I will cut the price for you below MAP and close to dealer price. I do that for everyone, you guys especially. I read all the comments about the glass, and all the scopes mentioned come out of Romania. The two newest ones in the line up come from Japan, Light Optics if I recall correctly. Schott glass on both ends and Japanese glass in the middle. Now, this glass is even better than the Romania glass. They are not necessarily the best scope for your declipine, but its worth mentioning. The Recon G2 and the G2 Mini. Client bought a G2 Mini and went elk hunting with 2 buds, one had a US Optics and the other A Lupy. They had a bull at 1700 yds, they could not count the tines on the bull with the US Optics and Leupold, but the G2 Mini stood up tall and commanded that mission, they could all count the tines. So, if anything happens to your scope, I will go to bat for you with Val, and you cannot get a Valdada below MAP, except by me. Hit me up if I can help, that goes for anything on the Valdada site....

I've used both in my travels, NF and Valdada. Side by side, glass was a bit better. Schott on the Val and JOL Japan Optics Limited on the NF. I've seen complaints here about the Val's but I also know there have been issues with some NF's equally. I guess difference lies in repair timeline "if it even comes to that". Hell, if I bought firearm products based on whether they would break down or not, I'd be a golfer. I go for the best my $$$ will buy.

The last time I talked to the Valdada rep, he told me that Valdada doesn't have a rifle scope repair facility in the US. Because of the export/import paperwork hassle an cost of shipping scopes across the Atlantic, the US sales office collects scopes for repair in a box and then ships several at a time back to Romania. Ditto for the return shipment. A factory repair can take and extra 6-12 months just for shipping.
