I shoot a 55 gr Nosler BT in a similar capacity 6mm. It shoots bug holes. However, they do drop a tad if you are used to the hotrods running 3800+
But they are effective.

I have shot maybe 10 different bullets in my 14 twist 6BR for GH hunting.. I shoot the 58 GR Hornady as my favorite because they are always in the store and cheap. The 55 gr Nosler was surprizingly accurate, also 65 Bergers These bullets always shot under .400". 8208 and H322 good speed and accurate. Varget and R12 were 200 fps slower. Barts bullets always good but cost too much for killing a GH. Tried several 70 gr bullets that were difficult to find a good load but they were accurate with lighter loads.looking at thoughts on this in the 58 grain and 65 grain v max for ground hog hunting out to a max range of 300 yards or so in my area.
