Catfur while in principal I agree with you I see a problem. Our legislatures also have accountability, they must run for office every couple of years. For the most part they keep getting voted back in. You are correct though. No direct competition and Pappy Sam always there to trouw in some dough does not make for a sustainable model.

And "People" want to put the government in charge of our healthcare? NO Thanks.

still waiting on a package from January 18th mailed 2 day priority.
Steve.

I have been in the Mail order business, since very early 2000. I have used USPS exclusively, and had very few snafus until the Pandemic struck.
For you that have packages stuck running back and forth between 2 cities. that will not stop until you lodge a complaint at you local PO and get a real person to put a stop to it. The system is automated, the package is basically lost and until it gets righted by a human it will continue too cycle.
My deliveries since Christmas have improved some, but all are not back to normal.
When USPS was running hot, straight and normal, they did a fine job for me, and I have the finest carrier on the planet. If the postal system ran as efficiently as She, they would have NO problems. Your mileage may vary. LDS
