Fellow here needed a 300WSM reamer and I had one, so just sent it to him and asked him to pay postage only.

Padded envelope was probably a bad idea, but I haven't had any problems before, but this time, only the package arrived with nothing in it!!:(

they have gotten much worse in the last year
I had someone here send me 4 triggers for trigger jobs
---
same result
very frustrating that their added insurance does nothing and they fight paying it even when its obvious they broke open the package in shipping
---
so instead of paying for their No Good insurance
Pay more for a better shipping container, then you will not have to claim their insurance
---
when I did file a claim
all I kept getting from them is "We are still looking into it"
for 6 months

Also FYI
You can buy what is called "NON MACHINEABLE" stamps
so they dont go through the rollers or whatever
I make trigger springs and little tools and stuff and send in manilla enevelopes
---
Not one problem yet with those stamps

As said, haven't had problems before using the same envelope, but that was years earlier. Should have used a box or a tyvek envelope. My bad.

This is not the Postal Service problem. It's yours by using improper shipping components.
Knowing how the system is, you should of used a small box and shipped it proper. And you wouldn't have this problem.
Bull....!

I SAY ONE MORE TIME THE usps S U C K S ..Tommy Mc

A gentleman bought a trigger from me and I boxed it, and sent it by USPS. It is now 14 days since I shipped it and he still hasn't received it. I've contacted my US Representative and my US Senator about this and have heard NOTHING from them. I'm losing all the little faith I had in the US Government and it's agency's.

Update - The trigger has been floating around the US now for a total of 24 days. It's been to DC, MD. OR. IL. Chicago, back west, and is supposed to be in St. Louis, where it has been twice in the 24 days. Does anyone have any suggestions on who to contact and complain about this horrible service? It really is ABSURD!

Any complaints I made have fallen on deaf ears.

The USPS doesn't care and since it's part of the Federal Government, they have to give you permission to sue them.

Great, ain't it?

My last three packages from the east coast to the midwest by USPS have travelled according to tracking info 4700,3800 and 2600 miles!
