bsekf said:ceylonc, when using this procedure have you checked runout after sizing the case and then compared it again after seating a bullet? I am getting nice straight cases before seating, .001 runout, but after seating the runout is .005. I am trying to find out if the forster type seating die will correct it.
thanks,
Bill
Depends on what is causing the run-out. Check the fit of the seating plug to your bullet; the tip of the bullet should not make contact. Secondly, rotate the cartridge as you seat the bullet - two or three stages.bsekf said:I am getting nice straight cases before seating, .001 runout, but after seating the runout is .005.
