Using MagnetoSpeed v3 during load development

This will be good news for all of you who have been considering buying the MagnetoSpeed but have not bought one yet. Since I just bought one I am sure that very soon either the price will drop dramatically or there will be a new and better V4 version available.

LMAO!!!! :D :D :D

I might as well stir the worm pot. The Magneto in my experience will shift the POI but will not change the group size. But I'm not a scientist, have never played one on TV, and am still in generals for my Engineering degree, so maybe I'm not infallible haha.

For me,

- Attaching the MS directly to any of my barrels changed its POI. I think this is fairly well accepted now by most, at least as "likely".

- Changing the strap tension or changing the position of my bayonet caused a different POI shift. Not unexpected.

- I never found convincing evidence MS changed group sizes. But the uncertainty remained for me.

Any change in POI that can vary from session to session, or in the extreme during the same session, made the MS useless to me for clocking the rounds *actually* used during load development. But its incredible ease of use kept my optical chrono in the closet. I made up extra rounds, and gave up the actual data for quite a while.

But I can tell you I'm very pleased with my LabRadar now. Problem solved :)
