US Optics model?

Hello everyone. I inherited this scope from my dad’s estate. Any idea what model it is and what it is worth? I don’t need it and will be selling it. 5-25 power, mils, red illuminated reticle. Unsure of the brand of rings included. It looks to be the cms reticle. Thoughts?IMG_0306.jpegIMG_0307.jpegIMG_0308.jpegIMG_0309.jpeg

That’s one of my favorite scopes, David. The person that owned that scope, knows their stuff. The only question is, what else did you get, because that person had a LOT of firearms possessions ;).

(Edit- reread, condolences, David. Those are Nighfkrce rings, by the way. The scope is out of production and hasn’t been made in ~8 years - at least, but it enjoyed a long run and was their marque scope).

It’s for a certain kind of hunting gun.

They were top of the line in their day. Unfortunately, USO currently is not the same.

They still have a small audience that will pay for them.

That's an sn3. Erek elevation. Has dual color reticle illumination by the looks of the button. Awesome scopes, ahead of their time, USO isn't the same company anymore, as far as value in today's market. I think if you want to sell it $1000 and it'll sell fast I'd hope, maybe at that you're giving it away, and I'd hope someone thinks that's a deal. Maybe $1250 is a fair number to set and hold out for? At $1700 and you probably won't get much interest, a nibble and a low baller and maybe the right person would pay that right away. I think the value has came down enough in recent years. I got one close to that in moa version, I think I bought it with rings for $1100 a few years back. I probably got 10 nightforce Atacr scopes, but the old USO just has a certain appeal and I really like it. The right deal and I'd buy another, people under 35 will look at that USO like it came from outer space, and ask about the warranty then go buy some Chinese crap because they seen it on TV. The guy that's interested in that USO, he has money to spend, the guy that bought it in the first place had good taste and an appreciation for quality

I’d value it higher, I’d gladly use it with pride for $1,500 as pictured, if a good home for it is of interest. Knowing David, it has been cared for.
