US 869 powder in a .300 RUM

I am wondering if anybody has had any experience with US 869 in a .300 Remington Ultra Magnum? I am trying powders and using Berger 210 hunting vld bullets, H1000 has shown the best promise so far but I picked up some of the US powder today in hopes of it working. Thanks, Ron Tilley

i use it in my 7mm stw with 180 bergers and it shoots well I am running it at 3000 fps and it shoots well

A friend of mine loads his 300 rum with the retumbo 150GR-200GR bullets. and he has had great results with it. Just a thought.

I have a .300 RUM and it shoots BEST with Retumbo and next with RL-25... I shoot 200gr. Accubonds..

The 200gr accubonds is one of the bullets that he uses. I want to say hes shooting .25-.50 groups whit it using the retumbo.

I used 101.1 gr of US869 with a Berger 210 VLD. Velocity was right ta 3,200 ft/sec. Accuracy ran about .5moa at 200 yds.

You will like it probably better than retumbo.
