US 869 in Weatherby 257 & 300?

Has anyone tried it? The sparsity of powders has me trying new loads. I find only one published load for the 257, 81 gr behind a Nosler 115.

300 Weatherby US 869 powder, 208 eldm bullet, 83.3gr to 86.0 gr.
85.4 lowest S/D.
Use 30 nosler "Starting loads" MINUS 10% work up slowly...there is published data for 30 Nosler 165 gr to 230 gr. And US 869 powder. Works best with heavy bullets usually... probably not the best powder, but it will work..and sometimes delivers good accuracy, but S/D may be concerning.
I use it in 300 RUM and 250 ATIP, smokin fast, and the 50BMG BMG, fast, but BMG50 more accurate.

Thanks, I’ll try it. If I could only find some 7828 I’d be set. Or …….drumroll…..some Reloader 25.
