UPS COD

Just did a $2000+ transaction with a seller that posted his gun for sale on AS. The seller wasn't very comfortable shipping his gun to me without prior payment and I was uneasy about sending a large bank check made out to him prior to getting the gun. Searching online, I found this UPS COD process. It worked perfectly for a very small fee from UPS. Here is how it works. You take a Money Order made out to the seller to a local gun shop (FFL). UPS delivers the gun to the FFL and in turn picks up the waiting Money Order. I was on UPS tracking the entire way so I knew exactly when the gun delivered. Within an hour of delivery, I was at the gun shop completing the 20 min FFL process and had my gun.

Been that way for years! Have to admit that I hadn't thought of that in many years. Used to buy metal detectors from Kellyco using that process in the 1980's.
