UPS Changes to Gun Shipping Policies

Just think about it. They could put a guy like me out of business with a few more "policy changes".

That's a real possibility. Package delivery is mostly privatized. And the postal service is under the control of a completely deranged government.

They already smashed the little mom and pops with the plandemic. Amazon, Lowe's and Home Depot grew by leaps. Now they can start implementing "policies" as to who is allowed to using the private shipping companies.

They changed their policy, just open up the accounts needed which doesn’t cost a dime….. or you could open up a Shipping Co. and create your own set of rules.

It APPEARS they have tried to change policy to comply with the ATF, but then very clumsily just threw "parts" in with "products" without a clear definition or distiction between the two.

It is worded extremely poorly.

I unfortunately read that as; I can't ship an action and stock to my stock guy because I'm not an FFL.

Possibly. But interesting that it wouldn't have anything to do with the ATF. Because that would be considered gunsmithing. And gunsmithing doesn't require a transfer.

And Vanguard. If you want to play an interesting game get on your favorite stock website and start looking up all your favorite brand names. And you'll find those two names at the top of every retail brand name that you might find at Target or walmart. You will also find them at the top of every Cable News Network. You will also find them at the top of every major movie studio. Every place you buy gas. Etc etc etc

These two mostly foreign owned investment firms have essentially bought controlling interest in just about everything that Americans buy on a daily basis. All done very quietly and slowly during the pandemic. They also have controlling interest in the ammunition manufacturing industry. My guess is they probably also have controlling interest in FedEx but I haven't looked it up yet.

As much as I don't want to do it I've decided that I'm going to start shipping every single item via the post office. Because that will be the final holdout on this matter. FedEx is owned by the same people it's just a matter of time and before they make a policy that is similar if not an exact copy of UPS.

I suppose that'll only be a matter of time before this completely out of control totalitarian communist/ Trotskyite government makes something similar for the Post office.

It is my great hope that for once gun owners and gun vendors will finally stand up and take a stand, stop talking about taking a stand, and defy these people.

Just keep this in mind. If you have people who are so rich they can buy everything and tell you how you can use their property you really don't have any freedom.

Vanguard is owned by the funds managed by the company and is therefore owned by its customers. I have large investments in the Vanguard family of mutual funds. (Most Americans have some investments in Vanguard, either directly or indirectly through their pension funds.) Thus I myself am an owner of Vanguard! There are millions of owners of Vanguard.

So I own shares myself in Fedex. How? When I buy shares in VTSAX (Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund) a tiny fraction of that is Fedex shares. There are many other index funds with Fedex shares, but, there are other managed funds which own a larger percentage of Fedex, based on the objectives of the fund's managers.

Vanguard funds are so popular, and there are so many of them, it's not surprising that, in the aggregate, Vanguard funds inadvertently finish up being the top shareholder of Fedex. But that aggregate ownership is spread across many funds with managers having different objectives. I assure you they're not all conspiring, above all else, to screw the gun industry.

PS Vanguard funds (four of them in aggregate) account for a massive 6.78% of Fedex shares.
