Update on my rehab

A little premature, but I may be able to quit shuffling and stumbling in my gait. I'm walking a bit without assistance. I am cautiously optimistic. I was in my machine shop on my feet most of all day yesterday. Fortunately we have a lot of orders for our rest top, Shadetree Engineering & Accuracy. My Son ,Chris, was invaluable prepping parts before assembly and doing a little lathe and mill work.
My goal for my surgery was to be able to trudge the "Big Empty, with my good Friend Wyman Meinzer, https://landreport.com/wild-man-wyman-meinzer. Nothing better than walking over the old west country getting a lesson on the old west in West Texas. A rare chance to be with a friend that lived in the old 2 story brick jail building built in 1887 in Benjamin, Tx.
Royce Massey, thanks for your peach cobbler and ice cream and just a huge thank you and God's Blessing to all my friends and family!

As a double hip replacement patient, I can only offer this advice. Listen to your rehab. personnel, but also listen to what your body is telling you! Heal up at your pace, and then get back to enjoying life!
