Update on Cooper Rifles

I wish the new owners all the best. Cooper rifles of Montana were a true breath of very fresh air in a VERY mundane world of boom-chuck arms. I hope they remain so. Time will tell. I have three of them from Montana from early specimens they made and glad I got them when I did. Something cool to me is having rifles made in Montana with Montana stamped on the barrel.Maybe it’s just me.Used this one last year here in Pa.IMG_2610.jpeg

Sounds like they are off to a very good start. Always nice to see a high quality rifle line be available again. In these days of mass produced, cookie cutter, mediocre firearms, it's nice to see some passion for the finer things in life. If you are so inclined.

I’m inclined! :D
I’m pleased with the ones that I have, just had the little 223ai out in the field two hours ago.

I've only got four of the originals, now wish I had purchased at least two more when I had the chance before the MT outfit sold out to NH. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I wish NH the very best, and sincerely hope they return to making the rifles that we all wanted, and not venture off into "tacticool" territory.

Hopes are high, guess we'll see.

Yeah been seeing them show up on GB and a few retailers for months now. Nice to see they are making progress but mostly that we can start getting support for the existing ones out there. I've had an ask for an extra M52 mag for a while now and I think they were expecting those parts from their vendor late June. Should be getting close.

Probably wishful thinking of a small caliber guy, but I would like to see them offer the Hornet's and the Bee's and the wildcats having those parent cartridges again. Unfortunately, looking at their current website, I don't believe that is in the cards.

Awwwe, face it fellas, nobody takes those pretty wood stocked ones out in the field anyway:p
30-06 from a few weeks ago and a 223 Ack from this morning.

FP spring replaced, pin fall corrected

I do like the small action !!!
Wish I could find a M38

Doubt you’ll see that wood again from factory- once the Montana supply is gone-
Looks like from the video your next factory heirloom is gonna be a 300 win mag ( mag fed) synthetic stock w/ Cooper of Arkansas on the side of receivers …o_O

LOVE my M38 Phoenix in 221FB. Crawling about in the lava rock here for rock chucks is no place for nice Cooper Claro walnut.

I have both Cooper synthetic and nice walnut. Choices are good, both have their place in the wild. :)
Yeah mine rides tractor, combine, semi truck, gator… gets lots of character… on the fiberglass stock..:)

I wouldn't be so sure about that, look at their partnership with Cosmi. I'm guessing for what they will be charging they will offer the full set of options and then some.
