It finally made it. The 6XC Norma "TUBB" brass. Yes I admit I was one of the impatient ones for the past year and half.
Ordered 300 cases. 300 received.
The following is noted as "right out of the shipping box", no prep done. Average case length 1.905,26 cases were varying between 1.900 to 1.909,althought the majority were dead on at 1.905, Neck concentricty on all cases was 0 to .002 runout, out of the box!)No split necks found on any.
Case weight in grains:
300 case count/ Average 157.7
Low 156.6
High 158.0
Considering a few cases were short and long 1.900 to 1.909 the weight difference was expected.
Comments: Quality is on par with Lapua brass and above average. Finish quality, factory trim and chamfer was excellent. No draw die marks indicating above average quality controls in place. Flash hole piercings are clean, sharp and bur free inside and out. Primer seating using Federal 210m's was very firm. No acid pickling stains present as sometimes found on other sourced brass. Headings and web are noticibly more robust over Rem/Win necked up brass.

Please note the 6XC Norma brass was straight out the shipping box with inspection only and I felt since I needed to fire form it I did not bother to do any prep at all. The necks were straight enough that since this was the first fire why waste my time. I did not run them through the die even to square the necks. It wasnt needed first time out. I normally pre-prep new brass but it was not necessary.,thanks UPS and David Tubb for his quality demands)
Load
38.0 Grains 4350
Federal 210 Match Primers
Lapua 105 Scenar- Silver Jacket,Moly)
