Norma/Tubb 6XC brass...quality?

Thinking about getting a 6BR or 6XC barrel for a Savage action and I'm wondering about the quality of the Norma headstamp brass available from Davidtubb.com.

I note the price ($69/100) is $15-20 cheaper than Lapua 6BR brass, and significantly cheaper than Norma 6XC brass from Midway, Bruno, etc.

I know Tubb is the creator of 6XC, but just curious if there's a "reason" for the price discrepancy.

I bought 200 pieces of 6XC brass from Tubbs direct and the quality is very good. I wasted my time sorting by weight, and my 6XC is a tight neck chamber so after turning necks the brass is as good as it gets. Maybe because he is cheaper he sets the price himself and he probably has a very large quantity available for resale to the shooters and the vendors.

I bought 200 pieces of it almost 3 years ago. My rifles are set up for no turn necks. I neck size only and bump the shoulders back .002 every reloading. Some of my brass is just passed its eighth reloading and is still doing just fine. I've had no issues with it and it still shoots good groups if I do my part. WD

It is very good. If I had to buy 6xc brass again, the Norma brass from Tubb is all I would consider.

Being the importer hath its advantages...
The XC brass I bought there produces 1/4 moa loads consistantly for me.
