Ok I will make sure I don't leave any rodents around that may have died from that.I've read that they are vulnerable to consuming rodents that have been killed with an anticoagulant. Wildlife biologist warn against using such products when the species overlap.
They've been in central Ohio for longer than the ODNR knows of (or will admit to). JME. WDI have done a little hunting in Ohio and have seen as many bobcats there as I have seen in Virginia. Very efficient predator for sure.
That's a bobcat, not a lion, and I'm pretty sure that every state in the union has them. jdPA game commission adhemently proclaim " there are NO mountain lions in PA!!!"
Any pictures of one were taken in another state!
The couple that had been shot, the people were accused of illegally bringing it in from another state.

That's where over the years I whacked my majority, brother lives near superstitious mountains and has thousands of acres he's acquired over the years to hunt. Very easy to call in,and thin skinned easily dispatched.Arizona is getting more and more cats too, we’ve always had bobcats, Mtn lions, ocelots and a Jaguar once in awhile but with the recent restrictions on lion hunting with shorter seasons and harvest limits per each unit their numbers are increasing noticeably. Wild cats are majestic creatures in my opinion, very efficient predators and I wouldn’t want them getting prolific in my hunting area, still better than wolves that kill for the fun of it and move on.
