Unwanted guest

It was like a circus out there, all 3 were running in circles,
had to let my dog clear the one before I could shoot.
I don't think I lead the other enough, cause he decided to leave
in a hurry when he saw his partner drop. (and the rifle shot )
Run a Aimpoint red dot and 77g Sierra tipped match kings.
Good close range gun.
Earlier in the day, we saw one in the tree line, might have been
the one that got away, came back. Was bigger
Bet he won't be back again.
I'll just wait for his cousins.....

They are like fleas on a junkyard dog around here. (at night)
My dog is 45lbs but when theirs two, the odds change. Time to equalize them.
We (dog & I ) set on the back deck and have heard 4 different packs howling at once
in different directions. I've had them run threw the yard other times while out there.
Legal to hunt at night now. (Nov. 15th - Mar. 15th) so no problems.
The IL. DNR gets so many complaint, they want them dead.
Wife said, why go out to other places and shoot them when we have so many
in our back yard!

I've seen them in out neighborhood here in the east. Dee them in WV but can never get a shot off. They never stop moving. They are decimating the turkeys. They sure do come running to a turkey call.

I do have a light on it, but didn't need it.
Had enough light from the backyards lights on.
The red dot pops in low light conditions (#7)
I've run thousands of rounds in this one, pretty familiar with it
for close range work.
