Unplated primers fit loose and can fall out!

Big Ed – How come you didn’t buy Lapua? :D

1. Because I'm a cheap bastard.
2. Because I could buy over twice as many Nosler Custom cases for the price of Lapua cases.
3. The cases where a "impulse" item the last time I drove to Trops Gun Shop to stock up.
4. Why would I buy Lapua cases $$$$ when I'm having so much fun sorting through so many defective cases that are seconds.
5. I'm retired with nothing to do and all day to do it.
6. I've already watched all the reruns on TV and sorting cases is less boring than watching the same "Law and Order" episodes thirteen times.

The only downside is I'm wearing out my runout gauge V-blocks and have to grease the V-blocks to keep the brass from sticking to the bare aluminium and not rotating. :'(

LOL!

bigedp51,

The feeler rod I made could easily detect that small stretch in the 303 case you sectioned.

Show us how you measure case stretch with the Case Master.

Here is your 303. It may have another shot or two in it if the rifle is safe.

I already have in the above postings, your inexperience is showing!

Thank you for informing me about "MY" brass and "MY Enfield Rifles". :o.

I'm guessing but you probably drink Bud Lite and your ego is bigger than your IQ. ::)

Very good quote savage.

So back of topic.

If you want a solution to save your primers or even your brass. Perhaps this warrants a look.

All the "Hart Case Saver" does is swage the mouth of the primer pocket, it does not make the primer pocket smaller in diameter. All the people in the forums who have bought one for the most part say it is worthless and at most gives you one or two more firings.

If the primer pocket is that loose all your asking for is a damaged bolt face from high pressure gas leakage.

The AR15 shooter who posted this photo below said he was going to keep using his brass with loose primer pockets and just buy a new bolt when it got bad enough. I for one do "NOT" belong to that knuckel drager mindset. ;)

I believe you.
I admit I have never tried one. Other members of other forums say they do but hey they don't have one either. ???

What about electro plating the bottom end of your bass? This I am told will ad some metal but can it be done with brass? Just thinking out loud :-[

Two simple things to do.
1. Take the under sized primers back to where you bought them, or get the company to replace them.

2. Brass with oversized primer pockets belong in a scrap brass bucket to be sold at the scrap yard.

And when in doubt take your mike to the gun store and measure the primers "BEFORE" you buy them. ;)

243winxb is your real name Joe Harris with the screen name of (joe1944usa), if not your posting photos from someone elses Photobucket account.

The reason I say this is because someone sent me a PM telling me my photo bucket account wasn't set on "Private" and everyone could access my entire photo bucket account and post my photos from it. In many of these Photobucket accounts are family photos and material not meant for "sharing" with the entire world.

Also at one time I had the only Enfield manual sticky anywhere on the internet, and the links to these books and manuals were stored in my Comcast.net file storage locker. Not long after this I find "MY" Comcast links from "MY" file storage locker posted all over the internet. My Enfield manual sticky was sucked dry and now there are people making money from what I was giving away free.

Bottom line if your not Joe Harris the photos are not yours, and you do not have the right to post links to his photobucket account. Here and in all the other forums you post under the screen name "243winxb" and this is why this sticks out like a sore thumb and "why" I'm posting this.

If you need images just Google any subject you are looking for and then click on "Images" at the top of the screen and you will find thousands of images. If you click on the image it will take you to where the image is posted. If the image isn't marked "copyrighted" or water marked you have the right to post it under the "fair use" copyright law for educational purposes.

Update:
Below is from 2011 and the person by the screen name T9gear is posting photos from joe1944usa photobucket account. :o

It seems everyone is using "joe1944usa" photobucket account! ::)
Where is dmoran when you "really" need him?
(only he understands, he threatens people with lawsuits if they use his photos) ;)

Who thinks anything on the net is not open to everyone? Think your facebook account is secure better think again. Same for your wireless think not broadcasting your ssid and having a crazy key makes your network safe? Nope. Everything you do online can be seen by someone who wants to see it.

If you set your photobucket account on "private" it can not be accessed like it is being accessed here. The same thing happened to me and I simply change the setting to private and no one can access your account.

If you click on my photobucket image below and copy the URL/web address it only leads to a single image and not my entire photobucket album because it is set on private.

How in the hell did we get so far off the subject matter of the original post???

Because a forum member here is posting photos from someone elses Photobucket account. And a second forum member here said he would bring legal action against me if I posted his images. I explained the copyright laws to this person, and told him he didn't have any images worth using and to pound sand.

In the Copyright laws under fair use and for educational purposes you may use images and short sections of the written text under these copyright laws as long as you are not selling it for profit.

Stealing photos from someone elses photobucket account is morally wrong and the poor guy doesn't know everyone is accessing his photos. Just Google (joe1944usa) and see what happens.

As an example Hillary Clinton can't bring legal copyright action against me because the baby is protected under Teaparty copyright laws.

baby-hillary-clinton-closer-closer_zps9bd8e6bd.jpg

And Catshooter can't bring Legal action against me for posting his girlfriends photo because wet dreams are not copyright protected. ::)

The first problem we had here is Savage99 inability to understand that 99.999999999% of everyone on the World Wide Web, better know as the "Internet" do not know who he is, what micrometer he has or where it came from. And because Savage99 didn't think of this he decided to throw a tantrum.

On top of this undersized primers and oversized primer pockets have already been covered in this posting.
