Unlimited sighters

I'm looking for the NRA's official time limit for unlimited sighters and 20 shots for record in F Class. Let's not include the prep period.

Steve - as I understand it from the Highpower Rules, it's one minute per shot, but can be up to 1.5 minute in the case of distances over 600 yd (i.e. LR). So for 600 yd w 2 sighters, 22 minutes total. For 600 yd w unlimited sighters, most places I've shot use 25 min total for MR matches with unlimited sighters (usually only the 1st match of the day). For 1000 yd w unlimited sighters, 30 minutes. The rules appear to have some leeway in terms of the extra time included for unlimited sighters. In other words, they don't specifically state a given time allowance for unlimited sighters in MR matches, whereas at 1000 yd, an extra 10 minutes is added on top of the one minute per shot allowance for record shots. I don't doubt this is why you're asking. It seems pretty nebulous to me, also.

The two sighters and twenty for record in 22 minutes is the standard. Is the extra 3 minutes added for prep time? Old school is "your preparation time has ended". Then the 22 minute time starts when the targets appear. Are we now combining for a block time per string? Looks to be an unwritten rule now.

For 1000 yards. It is 30 minutes for unlimited sighters and 20 for record.

For 600 it’s usually 22-25 minutes with unlimited and 20 for record

F-class rulebook, not very clear for midrange as most are 3X20 at 600yd. (g) which shows the high-power (sling) target with only two sighters. I think the rules need some work to be consistent between high power and F-class as they are shot along side each other in the same match.
