"Universal" Neck turning cutter

So was looking at some new cutters for my little neck turning deal and saw some.of the where labeled universal. What's up with that ?

They make them at different angles so when it gets to the shoulder it ends with the same angle as the case you are cutting. Universals get you right on the money if the angle of your case matches the cutter but close if it does not. So if you have a bunch of different shoulder angles and you are anal you may need to buy a bunch of cutters, or use the universal and get very close and live with it. i bought mine back when you used the one that came with the machine or had it reground to fit your case.
