Undoing Premiere Reticle Boosted Scope

I have a Leupold 6.5 - 20 LRT scope that was boosted (screw-on adapter) by Premiere Reticle years ago, but now I would rather return the scope to it's original configuration. Can I just unscrew the adapter part and be good to go; anybody know for sure or who to ask? Thanks for any help.

Paul removed the device for me and sent it on to Luepold. The repaired the problem. They had told me they would not touch it with the device still on the scope.
I have an old email address for Paul and all our correspondence if anyone needs it.

Rick I need info! I have a boosted Lepould 24x I need fix and they are not going to fix it until I get it removed! Thanks Tim
