Do you actually think asking the OP or any one else for that matter to contribute $20 for a Silver membership or $50 for a Gold to sell potentiality thousands of dollars of rifles is unreasonable?? Really??

I'm sorry if hard times are upon you but if someone is making money off the site and complaining it's not free they need to rethink things.

Another view on this, I was a contributing member long before any rule changes, and I'm fine with the pay to play aspect.
I've sold my fair share of goods on this site, but I can honestly say I've never made a dime, in fact when I do unload something, it's for a substantial loss from what I paid for it. Yes, I know there are other avenues to sell, and as opposed to sitting on it forever, but I try find people who can use my stuff and this forum has fit that bill.
I'm pretty sure I just sold 310.00 worth of Whidden 6SLR dies and tools for 125.00. The 125 is in my pocket, but 185 out the window.

I guess my point is some one else took the time and paid the money to make this site happen and maintain it. The only pay to play is if you are selling more than 6 items a year. It's only $20 a year for unlimited sell posts. Many of us like you and I can afford more than that and are happy to help keep the site what it is. Other people like a previous poster apparently are looking for something for nothing and are bold enough to bitch about it and look a gift horse in the mouth.

I guess it just rubbed me wrong when the guy on the first page gets 6 free posts a year and then complains that he has to pay something after that.

I can forgive a guy who contributes post wise to the site and displays actual interest. Lot of sellers here who have no interest in shooting or mingling, that I do not care for.
