Ultrasonic cleaning

Is it possible that I am work hardening my brass buy ultrasonic cleaning?

If I am, what is the down side? I'm thinking the brass would become more brittle and could crack or seperate easier?

I have been cleaning brass in a US for lots of years and never had a problem, but I do anneal cases every 4-5 times shot.
Full length sizing a case seems to cause more hardness problems than a US will...
